Paolo Sorrentino (Napoli 1970)
è uno dei più famosi registi e sceneggiatori italiani, conosciuto e apprezzato anche all’estero. Ha scritto e diretto i film L’uomo in più (2001), Le conseguenze dell’amore (2004, 5 David di Donatello), L’amico di famiglia (2006), Il divo (2008, Prix du Jury al Festival di Cannes), This Must Be the Place, interpretato da Sean Penn (2011, 5 David di Donatello, 3 Nastri d’Argento) e La grande bellezza, in uscita nei cinema italiani il 23 maggio 2013. Il suo primo romanzo, Hanno tutti ragione, è stato finalista al Premio Strega 2010. Il protagonista del romanzo è al centro anche della raccolta di racconti Tony Pagoda e i suoi amici (2012).
