Laura Pezzino is a journalist and writer. After many years at Vanity Fair, where she served as Head of Culture, she now writes for various publications, collaborates with publishing houses and film studios, hosts and writes podcasts, and teaches journalism and literature.
She is the author of the geobiography A New York con Patti Smith (Giulio Perrone), the young adult novel Il giorno in cui cambiò ogni cosa (Il Battello a Vapore), and Lavorare e amare. Amare e lavorare. Tove Jansson (Electa, 2025), the first Italian biography of Finland’s most celebrated writer.
Since 2022, she has been the editorial curator of Book Pride, Italy’s independent publishing fair. Born in Romagna, she lives in Milan.
