Little Olivia the bee is too light to fly and too clumsy to lead her companions to the pollen; that’s why the older bees decide there’s no longer a place for her in the hive. And so Olivia sets off on a solitary flight into the desert, searching for a place to build a nest all her own. It’s a difficult and dangerous adventure, but she faces it with courage and curiosity. But the surprises aren’t over yet: along the way, more adventures, new worlds, and new people await her. A journey—or rather, a flight!—to discover something new about herself and others and, above all, to learn that no one is alone in the universe.
