Alma comes to Zagreb.
On Friday, February 6, Federica Manzon will be the protagonist of a literary meeting at the Bogdan Ogrizović Library in Zagreb, on the occasion of the presentation of Alma, published by Mozaik knjiga in the Croatian translation by Barbara Šarić.
In her novel Alma, Federica Manzon weaves identity, memory, and history –personal, of family, and of entire countries– into a continuous movement between belonging and loss. The city of Trieste emerges as a symbolic and real landmark, the place from which we observe our uncertain attempts to understand who we are and where our home is located.
The meeting with the author will be moderated by Marko Hadjur (Mozaik knjiga) and will feature Gian Luca Borghese, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb, and Vedran Bratušek, publisher at Mozaik knjiga.
