Giuseppe Antonelli is among the nominees for the 2026 Strega Nonfiction Prize for “Alfabit: Digital Italian from Text Messages to AI,” published by il Mulino.

The Strega Nonfiction Prize—sponsored by the Maria and Goffredo Bellonci Foundation, Strega Alberti Benevento, and Taobuk—Taormina International Book Festival, in partnership with BPER Banca, in collaboration with FUIS (Italian Writers’ Federation) and Gabinetto Vieusseux, with Rai as media partner, and Feltrinelli Librerie and SYGLA as technical sponsors—announced today the shortlist of five finalists for its second edition.
