Vincenzo Trione is Full Professor of Visual Cultures, Art and Media, and History of Contemporary Art at the University of Federico II in Naples. Former President of the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities, he is President of the Triennale di Milano and a contributor to the newspaper “Corriere della Sera”.

He has curated exhibitions in Italian and foreign museums and served as curator of the Italian Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale (2015). Director of the Treccani Encyclopedia of Contemporary Art (2021), he has edited critical editions of works by Alberto Savinio, Roberto Longhi, Mimmo Rotella, Umberto Eco, and Giulio Carlo Argan’s History of Art.
